Il “Better than Sex” della Too Faced è sicuramente uno dei mascara più iconici del momento sul mercato. Tutti lo adorano… ma sarà veramente uno dei migliori come dicono? Ho deciso di scoprirlo personalmente provandolo sulla mia pelle.
Il brand promette un prodotto, venduto al prezzo di 25 euro da Sephora, capace di regalare, a chi lo indossa, delle ciglia estremamente lunghe, voluminose e incurvate, dall’effetto multidimensionale.
Ciò che ho appurato, provandolo, è che la pigmentazione del mascara è molto buona. Esso, infatti, rende le ciglia estremamente nere, dando, anche a quelle meno voluminose, uno spessore apprezzabile e una certa visibilità.
Il suo utilizzo viene facilitato dall’applicatore che, con la sua forma a clessidra, riesce a raggiungere anche le ciglia agli angoli degli occhi che, solitamente, sono più difficili da colorare.
Anche la durata, devo ammettere, è molto buona. Il prodotto, una volta applicato, rimane pressoché della stessa intensità per tutta la serata.
Un altro punto a favore è sicuramente il fatto che il colore non si trasferisca e che non coli (cosa che molti mascara purtroppo fanno). Tutto molto bello… ma la domanda che mi pongo è : veramente dobbiamo spendere 25 euro per avere un buon mascara? Secondo me, assolutamente no!
Sono dell’idea che, per quanto ami questo prodotto, 25 euro siano veramente troppi per un mascara e che, comunque, se ne possano trovare di buoni anche ad un prezzo decisamente inferiore!
Sicuramente il “Better than Sex” merita la fama che questo mascara ha ottenuto ma il prezzo secondo me è un po’ troppo elevato.
